There's plenty to Swan Amber, with its malt forward biscuit sweetness and locally grown Challenger and Goldings hops. It is a beer for all seasons. It offers complexity: aromas and flavours to savour, though at 4.4% ABV it'll still be highly drinkable. It seems that Swan Amber particularly appeals to the taste buds of those living in the Leominster - Luston corridor.
Head Brewer Jimmy Swan is a fan of Goldings hops (see Arm Breaker IPA, for example), and you are likely to pick up the smooth, delicate, slightly spicy aroma that this English hop variety lends to the beer.
Enjoy Swan Amber to celebrate the completion of the Mortimer's Trail; whilst marvelling at the lovely leaf colours on the hills; on an early autumn Sunday afternoon sat outside wrapped up well in a beer garden.
