Early autumn is a delicious and delightful time. It's crisp and still dark on rising in the morning, though the afternoons can be glorious, bright and warm. The sky is often so blue that it almost hurts your eyes. Swan Porter has such a richness of colour that it too will dazzle you, along with its sweet, full flavour to charm you. A certain Lake District porter has a place in our hearts, reminding us of day-long yomps in the hills, descending to a Coniston pub to sit by the fire with a glow on our faces and a pint in our hands. In these parts, after conquering Lord Hereford's Knob perhaps a Swan Porter can be your reward?
The chocolate malt in the grist is the main source of the deep ruby colour. Local Challenger hops are added in the copper.
Swan Porter was launched on 17th October 2016, 202 years to the day since the London Beer Flood.
